Job Description

About the Bread Baker position:

  • Follow La Farm’s system of bread baking: scaling, mixing, dividing, proofing, shaping and baking
  • Adhere to La Farm recipes and procedures
  • Correctly execute production based on daily schedule and special orders
  • Manage oven (includes loading, scaling and baking for multiple breads)
  • 1-2 years as a baker or a bakery background preferred
  • A problem solver with a positive and upbeat attitude
  • Passionate about artisan, from scratch bread and food
  • Flexible hours including overnights, weekends and holidays (shift starts from 11pm onwards)

About the Barista position:

  • Provide exceptional customer service while engaging with each customer
  • Prepare specialty coffee drinks (includes latte art) on demand in fast paced environment
  • Run coffee and food orders to customers, buss tables and take special orders over the phone
  • Experience in customer service and food service industry
  • Experience on a manual espresso machine
  • A problem solver with a positive and upbeat attitude
  • Flexible hours including weekends and holidays (6am – 9:30pm)

About the Line Cook position:

  • Follow La Farm systems and recipes when building prep ingredients and customer orders
  • Provide exemplary customer service when engaging with customers
  • Execute proper food handling procedures/standards at all times
  • Experience in culinary field, prep and/or line work experience required
  • High proficiency at reading recipes and build cards
  • Ability to quickly process monitor data and implement strategy to make the correct meal requests as efficiently as possible
  • Flexible hours including weekends and holidays (6am – 9:30pm)

 
About the Pastry Baker position:

  • Ability to design and bake pastry from scratch
  • Follow La Farm’s system to make pastry, baked goods and prepared foods
  • Manage pastry oven for multiple foods
  • Execute federal food handling and cleanliness standards
  • Must have experience baking from scratch large volume pastries and baked goods
  • Willingness to jump in and work in a team environment with a positive and upbeat attitude
  • Flexible hours including overnights, weekends and holidays (shift starts from 11pm onwards)
