Job Description

Dispatcher/Customer Service Support

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in DC - for check-in, to collect payments, and ensure timely tour departure
  • Work with team and clients/customers to ensure fluid/consistent communications
  • Communicate with hotel concierge, guests, and third parties
  • Book guest reservations in system
  • Review and respond to emails daily; must have better than average writing skills
  • Update Excel spreadsheets daily
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Perform routine maintenance of reservations and other related systems

  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Critical thinking skills / problem-solving skills
  • Must thrive in fast paced environment
  • Friendly and energetic attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or other related fields preferred
  • Ability to work both as an individual and a team member

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, and sitting; walking includes extended distances
  • Frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs
  • Exposure to outdoors (weather)

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S., and able to successfully complete a:
    • criminal background check, and
    • reference check
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
  • Schedules may be changed as needed to accommodate business needs
  • Overtime may be required

Starting Hourly Rate

  • $14/hour (insurance not provided at this time)
