IQPC Exchange, a leader in producing events for the most senior executives from billion dollar

companies, is capitalizing on its success in London and Tampa and is expanding into the LATAM markets

from their new Miami office. We are searching for top sales executives to join our exciting new

Exchange Sponsorship Sales Team here in Miami

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for approaching new vendors to sponsor

elite executive events that give them the opportunity to get in front of their target clientele over the

course of three days. With guidance from our management team, you will be given the tools to execute

a solution-sales process based loosely on SPIN and conduct heavy lead-research into various vendor

categories.

Unlike other conferences and exhibitions in the market already, the “Exchange” model is via invite only

for its’ delegates and requires them to be from billion dollar organizations and have min. $1m USD in

purchasing power for new/upgrades of products and services. Our exchanges will be cross industry,

however have a strong technology focus. The role

 Identify and map out solution providers in your target market to plan your route to success

 Contact that market through calls and meetings.

 Build strong relationships through your market intelligence and strong client delivery to grow

your events

 Have a deep understanding of your clients business objectives to make your event an integral

part of the development strategy

 Creative unique package development to suit your clients’ objectives.

 Create in depth proposals that meet all the clients objectives

 Hit your revenue target with support from your manager

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelors’ degree, 1 - 5 years of sales experience, elegant and precise oral and

written communication skills, a passion for sales, the desire to succeed and a solid work ethic.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

As Marketing Coordinator, you will have complete bottom-line responsibility for creating and

executing innovative, international marketing plans deploying online and offline direct

marketing tactics. Specifically, the role involves:

 Conducting detailed response analysis and formulating targeted marketing strategies

 Forging long-term marketing partnerships with associations and publications

 Using a full range of online marketing tactics, including social media, online PR & SEO

 Moving customers up the advocacy ladder and engaging with them using interactive and

content led marketing techniques

 Querying databases and generating list build strategies

 Formulating communications strategies, including writing of promotional copy

 Establishing close working relationships with vendors

 Working closely with other internal departments to achieve project objectives

 Hitting agreed targets for direct revenue generation and lead generation while

managing the event marketing budget

Required Skills and Competencies 

 Bachelors Degree

 2-4 years proven experience marketing both traditional and social media marketing

ideally gained within b2b conferences or exhibitions

 Competitive intelligence to benchmark performance

 Google analytics experience

 Excellent Copy writing skills

 HTML experience

 Experience increasing traffic through content marketing

 Experience of using CRM desirable

 Exceptional interpersonal skills and a true team-player

 Excellent communicator, verbal and written

 Creative problem-solver, effective decision maker

 Outstanding organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
