Job Description The New Accounts/Sales Tax Coordinator should be involved from start to finish in the New Accounts process. This involved the on-boarding of customer, ensuring credit application is completed, obtaining credit references, and obtaining Sales Management approval. In addition, this person is responsible for the management and complete documentation of Customer Resale Certificates. Duties Include: Communicate effectively with Sales Management, Sales Admin, Sales Reps, Customers, and Finance Team to ensure a timely, complete onboarding process for new customers. Be a welcoming introduction to the Finance team, ensuring the customer they will be well taken care of. This desk is often the new customer's first impression of the company, so ensuring this is done with a positive attitude, by a knowledgeable employee is critical. Work with Asst. Controller and AR Manager to help run Credit Reports and determine credit worthiness of new accounts. Ensure complete and accurate transition to Managing Customer Accounts in new Oracle EBS System. Take ownership of Resale Certificate management and begin using Avalara Software to help organize, tighten process. Scrub Customer File to continually ensure accuracy and consistency of data. Work with AR team to reconcile a set number of customer accounts - such as the Prepaid Accounts. Help Asst. Controller with Finance/Accounting projects as they arise. The perfect candidate will have a positive attitude, be detailed oriented, analytical and organized. A college degree with a major in accounting and two years' experience is highly desirable.
